ABOUT TEXAS SCOTTISH RITE HOSPITAL
Each year, thousands of children from across the state are treated without charge for orthopedic conditions, related neurological disorders and learning disabilities at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Supported entirely by voluntary donations since its founding in 1921, the hospital relies on the generosity of friends to help continue the mission of returning children to health and happiness. "For more than 75 years, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children has been committed to treating children from communities throughout the state, and no family has ever received a bill for treatment," said Anna Ramey, vice president and director of development for the hospital. Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation's leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning disabilities. There is no charge for treatment at the hospital and admission is open to Texas children, birth to 18 years of age. The age range for the treatment of learning disabilities is 5 through 14.
